DESCRIPTION:Integrative Dental Medicine – Dr. David D. Wright and Lora Hooper. Reference would the book Healthy Heart\, Healthy Brain. Dr. Wright will apply the principles of the Bale Doneen Method\, founded in Spokane WA. He is a mentor for their preceptors. He regularly tells his patients “you have a medical problem with a dental solution”–but we need more dentists to see how important their role is!! This portion will be 2 hours from 10 – 12 with a Q& A session for 15 minutes included in the 2 hours. The next portion of the day will be with Lora Hooper BSDH\, RDH\, EFDA – “Oral-Systemic Health in the Age of AI & Saliva Testing: Elevating Modern Dental Practice”- she will deliver an engaging three-hour session on oral-systemic health\, building off of Dr. Wright’s presentation. She will focus on saliva testing interpretation and integration. If needed\, we can extend this to a four-hour session. Participants will have the chance to gain hands-on experience by taking notes on actual sample tests provided or by completing their saliva tests before the webinar\, allowing for an in-depth discussion of their results. She has an exciting collaboration with SimplyPerio\, which offers complimentary tests for the course. This partnership enriches the learning experience\, enabling us to delve deeper into case studies and results\, making the session more interactive and valuable. This portion will be after lunch. The first part of the day will be a check-in from 8-10. Location UNICE board room. Zoom online.
