ICam is best suited for full-arch (All-On-X) immediate load cases, particularly multi-implant and complex restorations where passive fit and precision are critical at the abutment level.
It is especially beneficial in cases involving angled MUAs, multiple implant positions, or situations where eliminating chairside conversion reduces clinical risk and improves predictability.
Photogrammetry records implant positions digitally in real time, eliminating distortion associated with conventional impressions.
There is no material shrinkage, expansion, or cumulative scanning error. By capturing implant positions directly at the abutment level, the workflow significantly increases accuracy and enables fabrication of a more precise, passively fitting prosthesis.

To properly plan and coordinate an ICam case, we typically require:

- Digital scans (STL or PLY)
- Bite registration and VDO information
- Detailed treatment plan
- Patient photos
- Surgical timeline and coordination details
For ICam-specific preparation, we also review:
- Fiduciary marker protocol (if applicable)
- Scannable healing cap or abutment-level setup
- Initial prosthetic design or digital blueprint
- Implant system, MUA selection, and restorative components
